Hi, I am helping a friend replace his blown ls1 with a ls2 shortblock, we may do a ls3 top end conversion while we are at it since I have the parts

I am wondering what all is needed, can we re use the same timing covor, vally covor off of the ls1? ir would that need to be changed.

if there is a thread on this already I would love to know

this is a 24x ls2 and I know the cam sensor has to be extended, what about the crank sensor?

thanks I pretty much had it all down before I even asked pretty much the same as a ls3
