93 Mustang LQ4 Build
Well I had my other thread but it was more of a questions asking thread this is going to be where I post the progress from now on
Story Time:
Well got my Firebird and realized modding my DD is not something you should really do so I figured I'd buy another car and do a Carb'd LS build the first car on the list was a 99 Camaro V6 hardtop but was told the Fox Swap is getting more and more popular with affordable swap parts. But first I searched for a motor at first I found a 07 5.3 for 200 bucks with a set of 243's so that was originally going to be the power plant. Then stumbled across another 5.3 and while I was there he told me about a 6.0 he had......So I leave there with 2 motors a 6.0 LQ4 short block with 317's ARP main studs LS1 Pistons and rods and another 5.3 for 450 bucks. So thats how it got to a 6.0 build
Specs of the Build
Stock bottom end LQ4 with ARP rod bolts
Custom Tick cam 234/242 .6XX/.6XX
Victor Jr Carb intake
850 Holly DP
243's milled .040 with BTR .660 springs
LS2 Timing set
MSD LS 6010
Motor is going to be a cam only motor so nothing to crazy on the motor side
Now for the car Picked up the car sight unseen from the Tampa area he told me all it had done and how clean it was and the car didn't disappoint list of parts the car has
AJE K-Member and A Arms
Strange Rear shocks
8 point cage
Steeda outer tie rods
Flaming river manual rack
Coil overs
3.73s
Weld Wheels
Had a 99 GT dash but was a hack job
Plan is to have the car done by April of next year and have it dialed in for the cool weather next year going to keep this updated as much as I can to keep yall up with whats going on!!

The steering is held up by a different set of brackets.
No Need for racing steering shaft unless your lightening up the car.
