i got set off track with another big project i bought a pullmax machine and have been restoring it and modifying it and the shop to accommodate this monster in the shop. just about there. should be back on the Chevelle soon though.and there will be more chopping and cutting for more crazier plans.!

decided to put the chevelle back under the knife and already disassembled the temp. stand so this idea has been stuck in my head for a while about building a frame rack,fab table and was just in the right spot at the right time for once scored some used conveyor parts to make a fab table out of. looks like now is the time!

Why is the upper link of the rear suspension V shaped instead of being a single bar? It looks like you are doing a 3-link in the back but that V shaped upper link will limit the articulation of the rear axle, which is the whole point behind a 3-link. Presumably you will also be adding a panhard rod or a watts link for lateral support....

good catch Andrew! the front most bushing on the upper bar will be running a jeebus joint with a high amount of articulation allowing the rear to work without binding and i am in the process of designing a watts link to keep the rear centered.should be on the table ready for more modifications this week!

after taking wayyyyyyy longer than it should have finishing the inside of the shop and eqip. it is finally going to jump back on the Chevelle !! after attending Ron Sutton's suspension workshop I am going to try to implement some of suspension ideas I learned and put them to use!
