Default wastegates ??

What brand do u all prefer ?? Tial , Turbo smart , Precision. I'm looking 2 get 2 44 OR 45 MM wastegates w/ V band. I'm not worried about the cost , just want a good wastegate 4 my twin S366 turbos. Any ideas ?

Sorry I'm not an experienced turbo guy, but i have always heard good things about the Turbonetics RG-45. Are you going to keep the stock valvetrain? Or change it to the LS9 spring set up?

Also for your low mount AC compressor is that the alan grove bracket with the Sanden 709? I'm looking into that same set up which means i have some notching to do

I'm going w/ BTR springs w/ ARP head studs , beefier pushrods , & LS9 or Cometic head gaskets. That is Alan Grove AC kit with Sanden 508 compressor. I have Car Shop motor mounts 1" set back but redrilled 2 holes per side & moved it (the engine) forward about 1.25". Thanks for ur advice on the wastegates , I've been leaning toward Turbosmart. Please let me know , like I said , I'll pay because I believe this,"u get what u pay 4". Thanks
As for the cross member , all it was is trimming excess metal that u don't need & it looks way better.

I like where the turbos are going, but are you going to have room to pipe everything? Are you doing an intercooler?

Thank u , the 3.5 hot pipes will be fine , the 2.5 flange off the turbo will go 2 the front of the radiator then y 2 gether into single 3.5" or 4" pipe 2 the TB. If I can sell this intake , TB , Elbow & sensors , I want 2 get the Holley Hi Ram , so I can buy the intercooler from 417 Motorsport 2 go between the top lid & bottom intake so I can have my radiator 2 get full air flow & my AC condenser & trans cooler can be more separated for cooling issues. I don't want the radiator , intercooler (a2a), ac condenser & Trans cooler stacked , cause I don't want any overheating issues & plans 2 do what Shawn (Crusty Nova) did. Also , I'm cutting alot of the sheet metal off on the core support & gonna fabricate a shroud around the radiator to the core support so it looks better & direct the incoming air thru the radiator , not around it.

I think a2w intercooler is going to be more effective and make packaging a lot easier. Look forward to seeing what you come up with!

I agree about the packaging of the intercooler. Once that intake set up I have sells , then here comes Holley Hi Ram. The a2a Treads tone is around $500 , but the a2w from 417 Motorsport is around $1000-1200 , I can't remember , but when u add elbows & hoses to the cold side of a2a , the price will go up around $100-200 depends on what u buy. I'll keep u guys updated , but going out of town in a couple of weeks. Happy Labor Day everyone.

I went with a pair of precision 46mm gates but mainly because I got a good deal. turbosmart or precision would be my preference.

Haven't used mine yet but TiAL was highly recommended when I purchased mine. Excellent build quality looking at it (which is about all i've done with mine).

Thank u William , that was one of them , that I was also looking @. It sometimes a little frustrating 2 choose between 3 or 4 good wastegates company.

Thank u , I'm thinking of low mounting the turbos down between the frame rails & engine-tranny location so the exhaust manifold goes in stock location & have short pipe to the t4 flange & make a support off the frame rails , but that short pipe will have a flex joint ???? I know that I'll have 2 buy the pump for the oil drain but @ least I could put the coils back on the valve cover.

Here an idea , it's not up high enough , I just put the turbo on a seat pad & rolled it under for an idea & get block huggers or CTS- V exhaust manifold might work. What do u all think , I sort of like it but gotta get everything in place to see if it will work.

Thank u , I've looked into Frozen Boost & liked the type 21 but I like the idea of a2w intercooler from 417 Motorsport on my Holley High Ram once I sell my current intake set up. I've also looked into Forced Induction & JGS wastegates.
Again thank u.

Can't wait to see it on there! Have you ordered the a2w intercooler for it?

I don't know how you will find space to mount and plumb everything down low, but it will be uniquely awesome if you can make it work. I think in that position you may want to just hang it off the manifold or support by the block somehow. Something like this: http://www.airpowersystems.com/corve.../z06_eng_l.jpg

Bandit , thank you & haven't ordered the a2w intercooler yet but gotten my Holley High Ram , & Turbosmart 40 mm wastegates. I've seen that turbo manifold from air power system & was thinking of that also or use my C6 exhaust manifold or CTS V manifold since that's exit port is on the last port.
