Default Stainless works headers, LS2, 69 camaro, Drivers side Question

I have a 69 camaro, stock subframe, stock style power steering box. I've installed a LS2 using the S&P mounts. I just received my stainless works headers. Passenger side went in very easy. I couldn't get the driver's side in though. At one point I was caught between the body and floor. I'm hoping if I raise the car some more I will be able to get it in.
Curious if others were able to get the drivers side in without removing the steering box or engine.

Thanks,
Kevin

69 camaro, going LS2 (was LT4), T56, DSE suspension, Baer brakes, Budnik wheels......

No.....I have the redesigned SW headers with stock sub, S&P adapter plates, ATS 670 gearbox with stock motor mounts and I was not able to install the driver side header with the motor in. Of course with that said I have never been able to install any driver side header in this car with the engine installed.

Rocketrod and bmf150, thanks. I tried to a while tonight with no luck. Started to remove the steering box.

fyi... I was able to get the headers (stainless works) on my LT4 without issue.

Got basically the same set-up. Remove the brake booster... I argued with my VW buddy for 20 minutes before trying it....
