Default How to wire the OBD2 connector to an E38 ECM?

The Hi/Lo twisted pair runs to the TCM and the ones from the TCM I assume would go to the OBD2 connector.

Can anybody tell me what needs to go where on the OBD2 connector pins?

I know about the 2 grounds and 12V+ pins but where should the twisted pair go on the connector?

Thanks, Ken

I also tried wiring the OBD to the V2 pin out. My scanner doesn't even turn on that way.
Pin 13 is an AC low reference, which is probably just ground. the EFI live tutorial linked above should be fine or you could take the grounds and 12V from somewhere other than the ECM.

OBD
Pins 1,2,&3: Not Used
Pin 4: (BLACK) Ground, Circuit 1050
Pin 5: (BLACK/WHITE) Ground, Circuit 1851
Pin 6: (TAN/BLACK) GM High Speed LAN Serial Data Bus +, Circuit 2500, ECM X1 Pin 28
Pins 7 thru 13: Not Used
Pin 14: (TAN) GM High Speed LAN Serial Data Bus -, Circuit 2501, ECM X1 pin 27
Pin 15: Not Used
Pin 16: (RED/WHITE) Battery Positive Voltage, Circuit 640

That is from this thread, but I added the ECM pins for the GM LAN.

Yes that does work however I am also working with the stock 07 Cluster. I need to know where to put the low speed serial wire. Dark green pin 6 on the cluster plug. The information I have is incomplete and just tells me it goes to circuit 5060 and says "data communication schematics"

Low-speed data is tied together at a splice.

Thanks for the info.

I can wire it to pin 1 on the obd port. This still isn't telling me where to go to get it connected to the ecm. It is starting to look like I may need the BCM just to run the cluster.

There is no low-speed data connection on the E38 ECM.

Thanks for the conformation. Now I just need the pins out for the BCM, and a BCM, and pig tails, and... really wishing I had gone with an 06...
