T56 crossmember

Installed a t56 ls2 in my chevelle using edelbrock plates. I want to save cash and reuse the 350 crossmember. Who has modified their crossmember and what is needed? Thanks

I used the original TH350.. just flipped it around as needed to fit and line up, cut the tab off and reweld it back on as needed.. No biggie.. guys have been doing this for a long time.

Did you use the th350 mount or the t56?

If I recall, I used the TH350, it bolted up with no mod to it.

i did the same thing on my 70 chevelle lq4/t56 swap. very simple and cheap way out. and if i remember correctly the muncie and th350 trans mounts are all the same. they bolt right up to the t56.
