Default 67 camaro RS

I have been using the forum for a long time without registering but want to say thanks for all the information I have culled. My conversion is a LQ9 with LS3 heads and intake. 4L80 trans. Car is 95% done...hope to fire it up in the next couple weeks after power steering hoses, shifter and harness plug in. I have had this car a long time started with a numbers match resto about 15 years ago. It has since had 4 different drive trains the last one being a killer 406SB and ran low 11's at track. I hope the LS is close to that.

Welcome to the forum...I gained a lot of info from here and can't wait for a little warmer temps to finish and fire her up.
I went LQ4 w/ shaved LS3 heads following a combo from here and hoping for mid-low 10's........we'll see soon

I don't think you'll be disappointed

JJ, I prev had a 406, then later, did the conversion.
One thing that was apparent, after the swap....Off the line, the 406 made higher comparative TQ numbers than the LS1/LS6.
On the other hand, as the LS1/LS6 comes on, you'll feel the rush of power. If you only know the SBC, then you will find that it is a very different feeling.
Cam, options, & the like must be taken into account, of course!
