Started off as a 1 owner 6 cylinder car. Lots of money spent and still not painted or running.

Requiring Wiring & Fuel system to complete and some small exhaust modifications.

Before being touched

6 cylinder out

Different between Banjo drum brake diff and new borg warner disc brake diff

First test fit of LS1 engine

First Magazine Feature

Custom Headers being made on "jig"

Brakes on, diff in, engine re-fitted

Gearbox in, Exhaust made

Another Magazine Feature

Off for suspension/brakes to be finished (note buick v6 for gate stopper )

Back from suspension/brakes

And that is pretty much how she sits today, owning a house with a few projects on the go means kind of slow progress from here

Looks good so far. The old rear axle looks Japanese, perhaps a Toyota unit? We didn't get anything on that platform over here.

Good chance of that, they are available in GM cars from 86 through to 97, aswell as Australian fords from 81 through to 98. Also Australian delivered Nissan Skylines 86-88. The particular one i used is from a 87 Skyline as it is the same width as the Torana diff from the factory.

The good thing about so many cars sharing this diff is there is a multitude of gears and centres available including aftermarket like LOKKA/TrueTrac/Kaaz

Tha would be a cool swap.

At least the old girl was made for a 308 to fit between the rails.

Will it be tricked to look like and SLR 5000?

I like this car, too bad they didn't make them here in the States. I'd also like to get my hands on one of the Holden 5.0s. Nice build.
