Default Lokar DBW Pedal

Are there some inherent issues with the late model Corvette pedal that make the Lokar a better option (other than looks). It seems that that the GM pedal will bolt in older cars just fine, so what would justify paying 5x more for this setup. Any experience would be helpful.

Pretty sure it's a" looks" thing. Just like all Lokar stuff. The factory parts work just fine, but some people like 'bling'. The Lokar pedal is too soft in my opinion too, it doesn't have enough spring tension so they feel real touchy.

We saw this at SEMA two years ago and wondered what the market was, considering the price. Think it would have made more sense to make a 24x corvette pedal. Just my two cents.

Thought I was missing a little something, but that is one hell of a hefty price to pay for some bling. Appreciate the insight. Only none sales mention, was a Hot Rod magazine article, but contains no real data on what they were looking to improve.
