Default PNP NSBU Switch 4L80E

Please help me understand this wiring diagram.
I THINK I understand that when in park and neutral you would have continuity between the OG/BK and the BK/WH wire but don’t understand the CODE A, Code B, C, Parity. I need to hook this to my E38 for the park/neutral so OG/BK to the PCM and BK/WH to Ground (Please Confirm).
Can I use this switch to run an indicator light for Drive? I’m using a column shifter that was meant for a two speed powerglide so the standard PNRDL makes it hard to tell what gear you are in at times.
Does Code A mean while in P,R,L3,L2 you would have continuity between the OG/BK,BK/WH,TN/WH wires?
Code B While in R,N,D,L3 you would have continuity between OG/BK,BK/WH,YE wires?

Thanks in advance for the help,
Ron

The problem is using the switch for both TCM and a "Drive" light. With some glue and logic parts could get the appropriate output.

replace "code" with "bit" and it should make more sense - it's a logic table

A B C P
0 1 1 0 = Park
0 0 1 1 = Reverse

etc

Might be easier to modify the detent in the column

HAHA Logic, sorry old school here I need some logic, never dawned on me, I was like WTF this make no sense, Thanks for the help, Is my understanding correct for the park neutral position correct? IE: if I ground the BK/WH wire and I'm in P or N I would see that ground on the OG/BK
Again Thanks
