Fox Header question.

Fox Header question.
I have been looking into getting headers for my mustang but I do not want to drop 600.00 plus on a set. I have looked into the 351W headers. But my question is I found a guy selling 302 high port head headers which from the little info I found they are taller than the 302, would anyone on here know if they would wok the same as a set of 351W headers?
Thanks in advance.

I guess I did not make myself very clear as I have a 6.0 in my mustang and I want to cut the flanges off and weld on the LS ones. booboo37.
I am just asking to see that if I do this will the headers run right into the firewall. Just want to know if the high port headers are as tall as an LS or 351W

Sorry I can't offer any input. Ive never seen the highport ones your talking about, I have reg. 302 headers and they are far from fitting. If you have the 6.0 in there are the headers you found local? If they are ask if he can bring them buy and slip it in. If it fits buy them...

You will have to try them to find out.
TFS high port heads have exhaust ports raised 3/4" and the headers typically use N port or diagonal port flanges with round primaries. Add that .75" to the 8.2" SBF deck and you get 8.95" total, compared to the 9.2" LS deck. The modern 351W is a 9.5" deck and the older 351W as well as the 351C are all 9.2" deck.
They may work, but you will have to try them.
