Default stangtraders 93 turbo ls6 notch build

figured now that i have most of my parts now or showing up soon id start my build thread, plan to have it on the road in 2-3 months.im building mostly a street car but it will maybe see the track one or twice a year.ultimate goal with the car is to be able to trap 140+
when it does go to the track and i think so far i have a pretty solid set up planned out.few things i still need to buy like trans stuff and wheelsluckily alot of parts are being donated from my 98 fbody.cars a little rough around the edged and needs paint but no biggie cause im enjoying the project all around.the motor setup is going to consist of a very low mile ls6 long block with a custom martin cam and btr springs.cam specs out at 235/231 on a 114+4 lsa to help with the small turbine.turbo kit will be using a on3 t76 i have from my camaro,50mm gate,50mm bov,and 31x12x3 intercooler.hopefully my fuel system will be enough to hold the power.right now plan is to run a stealth340 intank with 6an feed and return with a boost ref regulator.hopefully this week the rest of my fuel systme stuff shows so i can get that done with the motor out.heres some pics, soory for the crappy cell picks.need to dig out my camera

how it looked when i picked it up

interior all trashed when i got it.yeah i know ugly color lol

cleaned up with camaro seats ftw!

custom pnp harness from bill @bp to adapt my 98 fbody harness to standalone

removing the 2.3 turd bucket

installing the aje swap member with spring perches and stock a arms

degreased engine compartment and painted, still need to do a little more clean up

2005 ctsv ls6 i got for cheap with a broken ringland

more uppdates to come soon just waiting on a large order of parts to show up so i can get started and once my tax return shows ill be getting most of my trans stuff coming

Looking to start a similar build here in a month or 2, looking to use my bros ls1 block, or a stock 5.3 block I took out of my truck, either or but want to make it a 383 turbo, with a th400 out of an 86 c15 crewcab with a 454, 76mm turbo. Car is a 88 lx hatch 4cyl auto. With the porno red interior too lol. I might keep it, idk yet so don't throw yours away if you get rid of it!!!

Thanks guys, booboo37 its a fbody pan with the aje kmember, from my understanding the ctsv pan works as well but hangs lower.
Trying to decide right now if I want to order a ptc glide since the price is right or run a pretty stock th400.big thing is the glide will push completion back a few months

Got a little bit done on the car today, not as much as I would have liked.got my fuse and relay center plus meth pump mounted up.still not sure if where the pumps mounted is going to be in a ok location.started running my fuel lines as well then hit a snag with the tube nut sleeve being too tight on the hard line so now im waiting on some different fittings from jegs.plus side my ptc converter is ordered up,and while surfing cl today I found what appears to be a recently rebuilt th400 that came with a tci master rebuild kit for dirt cheap. Now I need to find a 34 element drum assembly then drop it off with my transmission guy and have it built.
