Default Mustang Swap T56 guys/ T5

Im collecting parts for my LS motor swap in my 88 Mustang GT.

Im going to get a pullout t56 from an F-Body Camaro & Im curious as to what else will I need from the car?

and for you guys using the ls1/t56 combo how does this shifter work for you guys? It seems a little flimsy to take any hard shifting.

(from what i read) where it comes through the floor is about the same (2 inches back) but in order to retain the stock shifter location we need to move the shifter handle forward about two inches. the shifter arm can be rotated 180 degrees to put the shifter in the correct location (or close to it)

Oh ok I had cut my floor back about 2inch so the Trans sit flush. Then made a custom shifter with the height that suited my style/highth
