Default electric fuel pumps

So I started the swap in my 66 nova and am having a problem with the fuel pump situation. I got a holly blue pump and they say it needs to be mounted lower than the fuel tank.. Well if you have ever seen the tanks in these cars, then you would know they sit very low and to mounts a pump lower then that is almost impossible. Plus I dont want it to stick out like a sore thumb. Any suggestions?
