Regarding brand? Size? What is your budget? Pacesetters are awesome headers for the money and that goes also for TSPs steinless long tube headers. As far as size goes, ill go with some 1 7/8s

5.3l doesn't have enough in it to properly utilize a 1 7/8" Header.

I have the BRP/Heddman ones on my 84 SS..1 7/8" Primary. Using the standard SBC->LS Adapter plates they fit like a champ..clear everything by like 1/8".

Thanks. I'd get a 1 3/4" for your build..with a 2.5" Collector, and run dual exhaust.

I got some on the way. You guys rock. I will post the swap as soon as i get started.i'm getting 3" x pipeand pipe on the way. We have a full fab shop. We are making the mounts and a new tran mount made now. The guys in the shop needed the work. And they can make anything. My swap is around about $2200 in my pocket. 5.3 and trans $1000 ready to go in. BP setted you up with the harness and pcm. I think i;m doing good.

I cant find them now but I saw a couple threads a while ago where some people used the ebay headers. Can anyone tell me how they fit in a g-body & do all regular f-body headers have have that little bend on the drivers side header where it kinda goes towards the frame??
