This site has been extremely helpful with the planning of my swap. It's an 00 sonoma with a 2.2 4l60

I am putting in a 5.3 with a 4l65. I am planning the wiring phase. I am wanting to try and make my own harness using a 00 corvette harness and the DIY fuse block from cpw. I am thinking of trying to locate a gauge harness at a junk yard to splice into my harness for my gauges. Does anyone have any info on the easiest route to wire in my factory gauges to the ls1 harness. If I can do some elbow grease and take some time and make my own harness it would save me some cash.

I have been really wanting to buy the cpw harness but I have everything ready to go but the harness and 750 is a little out of reach right now. If I have to I will wait and do it but if someone can help me and I can save the cash and start the swap I'd love that.

Use the fuse box thats in the truck now. For the gauges to work you use the 16 pin connector at the pcm. Get the wiring diagrams for your truck and for the vette.
