Hello,

I am about to order a new crank position sensor and cam sensor but I need to ID the engine. The engine was purchased as a crate for a custom swap so I don't know what it came out of. It is a 5.3 with the black sensor (24X) and drive by cable. Is there some casting number or other identifying number I can look for to determine year/model of origin so I will have confidence I'm purchasing the correct part?

if its by throttle by cable and has a black sensor any 1/2 ton chevy/gmc 99-02 with a 4.8/5.3 will work.
