Default Singel HX52 5.3 95 ford ThunderChicken SC !

It all started with my 90 c1500

My buddies all have ls cars and 5.3s here in Florida ,so i figured it was about time I build one for my self . So the truck came along for the right price and i jumped on it ,then started collecting parts .

First part i went and pulled from the bone yard was a harness from a 02 1500

Then i went about labeling the wires to remove all the transmission controls ( as the truck was going to remain 5spd nv3500)

Then I picked up the 02 5.3 for next to nutting . popped the valve cover and oil pan off once i got home and the motor looked brand spanking new !

With my motor sitting here i could start running wires and building my harness .Oh i also picked up a tbss intake and a 92mm tb (Ebay ) might have to f with that a little bit , ive heard ppl say the tps readings are off .

The harness all loomed and ready

About to finish wrapping it up ,

Picked this up from a buddy who went with a borg .

Things were moving along great . i had some time coming up i was going to gut the truck and start the swap .... Then one day someone made me a offer on the truck i could not say no to .. so with that i sold the truck . now what do i do with all these parts ?!?

In steps the ThunderChicken

This was my friend Brandon 95 super coupe with a 3.8 turbo motor making close to 500. Hed pulled the motor to put into a 4cly fox , so i bought the shell. the cars original irs was taken out for a 8.8 and ladder bars . The original tbird hubs were swapped out for a mustang pattern ,

Well i started hunting for mounts and what i was going to do with the motor and found these

and they worked out great , no other modding was done to the car , just burn the mounts in and let her ride!

You can see the old mount brackets underneath the new ones , i plane on cutting that one out for down pipe room . wich leads me to the manifolds im going to be using . we got these manifolds off of some swapped 240 and they work awsome .

Any who that my story as of now still finishing up some odds and ends .Hope you guys dig the car here are a few more pics ..Oh and as for the trans it will be a th350 for now .

how she looks now

Also got a few pic of my buddies 89 supra yesterday .We are in the middle of swapping a 00 lq4/4l80.

The motor was pretty grimy so we pulled it apart to give it a once over . Also why she out I'm going to gap the rings a little for down the line . I latex a stock 7mgte piston next to the 6.0 to show my buddy why theyota motor had to go ,lol.

Rock on! Love the Ford>LSx Swaps.
Though, that trouck woulda been awesome!
Like mine! but I have the smaller 4.8, but the 4.8 loves some forced induction or a big, fat cam!

The weather here isn't any better. The Thunderbird temp gauge said it was 37 outside on the drive home!!! ...and did I mention it was raining earlier?
