Default whats needed to swap a 6.0 into my 98 z71

Do I have to change my trans? Thats the main thing Im worried about. I will be stayen fuel injected and possibly going with some force induction of some sort. Im just not sure what all is involved here.

Might get more answers on ls1truck.com

Not sure how active that forum is though. Hell..you might even find a build thread with the same vehicle over there.. Did you do a search on here to see if anyone has done a swap. I know sometimes the search tools on here suck at times. I usually type in google whatever it is Im looking for and add LS1TECH on the end and hit search.

What trans do you have now? If its a 4L80E no problem, if its a 4L60E it will work with the right flexplate/spacer combo but it may not last for too long...

What year 6.0? 1999 with long crank just slot the 6.0 flexplate tq converter holes, newer 6.0 you will need the snout spacer and longer bolts.
