Default Rebuilt L92 question

Just recently had my engine rebuilt. Got it back in the car. Runs in idle great. Soon as I put the car in gear, the engine dies. Only changes I've made to engine(which is prolly why I'm having this problem) is a cam swap. I went with a comp
LSR cam. This is the cam comp recommended for my setup:

Intake Valve Lift (in.)0.607Exhaust Valve Lift (in.)0.621Int. Duration @ .050 in. (Deg)219Exh. Duration @ .050 in. (Deg)235Int. Duration Advertised (Deg)269Exh. Duration Advertised (Deg)285Lifter

Car has not been tuned yet. I figured I would drive the car around a while before I had it tuned at the speed shop. Thinkin it would be better to at least seat the rings before they got to it. Now I'm thinkin that tuning maybe necessary before I even move the car. Then again, I could be missing something. Where should I start at this point?

I may not have given enough info to get a proper answer so feel free to ask.

Get it tuned. That's a big cam and the PCM may stop running at idle to once it realizes it can make it run right and loads up the plugs.

Will tuning also help with a sluggish start up?
