I am getting ready to order my mufflers for my project. LSX 427 7.0L with comp cam. I had a single XR-1 race muffler on my BMW turbo E34 and it sounded great. I just worry it will be too loud on the LSX. I am running long tube headers and twin 3" from the headers back. I was going to just run twin vibrant 3" cats up front and then the twin XR-1's in the back. I would consider running some resonators just after the cats as well if was an issue but would rather not have to if at all possible.

Curious what the forums thoughts are on the XR-1 race vs XR-1 sportsman vs XS on the LSX motors. I want the car to be loud and but not ridiculous as I do plan on driving it quite often. I recently installed a bunch of dynamat to try and keep it down as well.
