planing a 68 c10 build going to use a suburban tank under the bed and was wondering if a 01 siverado pump unit would work with a covette filter/regulator , i would just use the pump hot and ground , i realise these pump units have 7 wires , and had some type of presure sensor that i kown nothing about , educate me , i hope this will work , they 01 silverados had lq4s

As long as its a return-style sending unit it will work fine. The pressure sensor is for the EVAP system and the other wires are probably for the level sensor.

Thanks i r , it believe all those thins are correct it has a 4 wire plug that is 2 for the pump , 2 for the level [it usealy goes in a plastic tank] , and a 3 wire plug that i guess is the evap system
