how do i go from a factory barb fitting to efi friendly stuff?

The best way to do it is to cut the tip off that tube and have a AN fitting welded. An alternative is to use a compression fitting, but you will still have to cut the tip off.

Barb fitting with EFI clamps should work fine.

This is what I would do. Just put a piece of hose on it and clamp it. Using that sender means you'll be using an inline pump, and therefore there won't be any high pressure on it since the pump will be after it. You will have to add a return to the tank somewhere though.

Ok great. They make new senders with a return but I hate spending a hundred bucks for just a pipe that's added in lol.
