Default LS1 Into a 107 Mercedes SLC

Hi,

I have a 76 280SLC Mercedes now its 2.8 6 has done over 402,000+KM and its slow to say the least.

I'd love to turn it into a project car for myself with an LS motor since they seem to be relatively cheap here, ive seen a few different mercedes get the LS treatment but i have not been able to find an SLC with one.

So im still doing research on LS swaps now but was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who had tried it before into an SL or SLC?

i hope this is the right forum to post this in.

Thanks

Try Google. I was just reading a post of another aussie doing the same swap in an 83 SEC. Here's one that tickled my fancy. not a whole lot of details but it's been done.
