My daughters car is a 99 and now has a 98 engine and trans. But keeping the 99 harness and computer due to the difference where the wires plug in the kick panel. Do I need different knock sensors if the tuner new the swap info? I understand about the temp sensors being different. But on the harness where I think it should be the lip pressure sending unit plug (on the 99 I have 1 tan wire on the 98 it is 1 tan 1 black) the 99 harness is missing the plug. Can I use the 98 sensor and plug if I ground the black wire?
