I swapped a lq9 into my 97 camaro and used a 98 camaro harness everything works except my fuel gauge it stays at E or a little passed E I have the 97 fuel system still....I'm trying to avoid running aftermarket gauges and changing the fuel system I know for a fact the sending unit works

I thought the connections were completly different and they wouldnt even plug up? maybe the 98s are different I guess, I thought the ls sending units sent a different ohm signal than the LT1 car, that could be your problem, from what I remember most people have to swap out the tanks
