Tick master cylinder in a 68 camaro
Anybody use a tick master cylinder in their first gen camaro
Gotta chance to pick one up for a good price, just it sure if it will work in my setup
LS1 with t-56
It's from a 2002 camaro so I'm assuming it will since that's the master cylinder most are using in their conversions
If you have done it, any special fabrication needed?
Thanks in advance

I just bought on e for my 68' Camaro
I am using the Speed Tech / ATS firewall plate
I don't like the fact that the m/cyl reservoir inlet is pointed downward? I removed the clamp and tried to rotate it, but it seems to be "glued" on or something? Just didn't want to break it
I sent a email to Tick a week ago, asking about this, but never got a reply back
I will be hanging my pedals in the car soon, but from what a lot of people have said is that I may have to weld on a small extension piece and relocate the clutch rod mounting hole @ the pedal
This corrects any alignment issues with the clutch rod, not being centered/ square to the cylinder, which would cause issues
here is a diagram that I have
hope this helps, Jeff

Here is a tip for you. Before you weld the tab/arm back on.. mount the pedal in the car and use a Vise Grip to hold the tab in place. Then check the Travel and alignement of the rod.. if it is not right, then just loosen the vise grip and adjust the location of the tab and check again. Repeat until you fell that the travel and alignment is correct.
You will need just about 1" of travel. Nothing like cutting and mesuring once, but welding it 3 times !.... LOL

What did you do for a "stop" to limit the clutch rod from bottoming out??
