Default Crate engine completeness

Hi there, i'm new to LS1Tech forum and also just learning American V8 engines. I'm currently running a 2JZ-GTE (from Supra) FI engine at 20psi with 500hp and 700nm of torque, but after several strikes from my turbo-friend this year i decided to switch to an NA power. And the only option i see is the LS series engines, which are modern and reliable for my needs.

I'm about to order a crate engine from Summit or JEGS (actually Jegs's price is better) LS3 376/525 but cannot undertsand what exaclty do i need to order to run the engine, apart from the engine itself.

Here is the link - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/na...9233/overview/
JEGS http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Perf...1360K/10002/-1 (comes with ECU kit and an oil pan)

So i assume i also need to add:
- alternator
- starter
- engine harness and ECU kit (LS 376/525 HP Engine Controller Kits 19259261)
- power steering pump?
- accessories and belts?

what else?

I will get clutch kit and T56 later, i will order it separately.

Thank you in advance.

Neither of your links worked for me. But the GM crate I bought needed everything on your list. Keep in mind the oil pan, exhaust manifolds, accessory drives and in my case even spark plug wires may not fit your vehicle. If they don't, then some of the crate motor parts may have to come off. Also GM ships their crate motors with a flex plate for an automatic, so you may need a flywheel and pilot bearing.

Add to your list an air intake/filter set up, exhaust hook ups and radiator/heater hoses to fit your existing stuff. I assume you already have electric fans and a fuel system that can be reused. May need a throttle cable. Plus of course a mount kit, both engine and trans.

You didn't state what is the car / truck that this is going into ? Picture PLZ !

If you can, GM Performance has a complete FEAD kit.. that would have the complete front end accessory drive parts. (PS and Alternator, bracket, etc). Jegs

http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet+Perf...57325/10002/-1

Would need the Sensors.. (ECT, MAP, MAF, Knock, crank, cam, Oil, etc). As I don't see them listed as parts coming with the Crate. Some more added cost !

The crate motor I bought was a carb version, but it still came with the knock, cam, crank, coolant temp and oil pressure sensors. Basically everything that is bolted to the motor. MAP sensors are essentially free in a pick and pull. No 02 sensors, but that may be because of the carb intake.

Definitely something to verify.

Good to know, as the site don't list those as being included.
