Default Will flexplate work with 200-4r transmission?

The LS3 crate engines come with the GM Part #12582437 LS FLYWHEEL

It looks to be a standard flexplate with an adapter bolted where the torque converter goes to allow for the corvette torque tube.

It also looks like it has a deep dish to it..

will this flexplate work with older auto transmissions if you remove the adapter?

I don't know the answer, but thanks for posting this. It explains where I got that funky 'plate from. I bought a (supposedly) blown up engine for parts that had this 'plate in the box. The seller bought a crate engine and this must have been left over...

Glad it helped!

Do you still have the plate, maybe some measurements off it could clear this up?

I've still got it, tried selling it on E-Bay and couldn't even get $25 for it...

Whats the depth of the dish from the flange to the converter surface?

Or would you be willing to send it to me for the price of shipping?

Mine doesn't appear to have any dish, just a couple funky adapters bolted to it. I haven't removed the adapters to see if it looks like a normal flexplate. For now, I'd rather "collect" it than give it away...
