Default Ls swap in a 92 firebird

How hard would it be to do a ls swap in a 92 firebird I know its possible but if anyone in here has done it what is involved how time consuming is it and is it worth the money

Time consuming and Involved
Is it worth the money ..Yes
Thirdgens have around 350 - 400 ish lb advantage over 4th gens
Expressions when you pull on modern muscle car - Priceless

im doing swap right now check out my thread ..i have a thread on TGO i post alot more there than on here

It's a very straightforward swap. Everything is 99% bolt in.

Ok cool well it wont happen till next year sometime we're gonna do it to my little cousin's car he has a 92 firebird but he wants either a 5.7 or 5.3 but we wont do it till after he graduates

i wont say 99% bolt in

to me 99% bolt is a 383 or 350 SBC 1st Gen or a LT1 2nd Gen

i give it like a 75-80 % bolt swap unless you pay $$$$ to have people do the hard stuff for you

Wiring is the biggest issue some people get scared , its easy really and takes time to do it right , or pay some one to do it , you have to mate thirdgen "after cutting it down" and ls1 harness etc .. a A/c notch needs to be made is retaining stock a/c location or relocate to top mount is a option and the exhuast setup as you will need custom ypipe

those are the biggest hurdles
