Default LS el camino and bmw 325 build thread

The el camino is my car. I'm building as a gift for my dad. The bmw is my roommates car, we've been on this for a little over a year and they are both pretty much turn key at this point so I thought I'd post a mini build thread. el camino is a LS1 with a V2 cam, pushrods, valve springs, ls6 intake, longtubes, true duals (h-pipe), stage 2 t-56, ls7 clutch, denny's DS, 35 spline 9" w/ locker and 4.10's. BMW is 5.3 w/ 224r cam, PRC stage 2.5 5.3l heads, ls6 intake and oil pump, valve springs, pushrods, LS7 clutch, t-56, stock rear. Both have the typical high vol. fuel pumps and larger injectors. Headers are hand made on the BMW. Motor mounts are bought, paint and all install and labor done here in the garage. Starting with the el camino (1981 BTW, BMW is a 1994 325). Good videos to come...

Day after I bought it, blown up 3.8 3 spd manual.

the beemer has a truck water pump and a closed radiator. So there had to be a few "modifications" to the hose so we could vent all the air out of the system and get the thermostat to open. Looks bad, but it works like a charm.
