Back up lights
#3
Thank bud I remember you, cop car LOL
Right side is ds or ps? I have on the chevelle a single green wire for the back up lights coming out of the fuse block assuming 12V to this green wire will close the switch and give me 12V to the lights. Is the out put from the trans going to be 12V, I have 3 plugs
VSS, Skit shift and reverse lockout?

For my Chevelle w/T56, this is what I did. The T56 should have 4 plugs/connectors.. VSS, SS, Reverse Lockout and Reverse light switch.
I ran a two wire to the T56 Backup Switch (passenger side of the trans).
One went to the Chevelle's OEM backup wire (green iirc, just unplug it from the column switch) Connecting it to the T56 backup switch (passenger side of the trans) plug. either terminal.
Then the Second wire ran from a fused 12 IGN hot wire to the other terminal of the plug.
Then when the trans goes into Reverse.. the T56 Reverse switch would switch on power and the Reverse light would then come one.. nothing to hard about this.

You should be able to pick one up at the local parts store.. have them check there catalogs. If not, there are the usual online stores
IIRC.. this is the correct one that you can order from this place.

Also.. unless your running the BCM and Gauge panel from the donner.. you don't need to use the LSx oil sensor. Use Aftermarket gauge and sender in that location with an adapter or the correct sized sender. you can also use it in the bypass plate in the side of the engine.
