Default Tanks inc fi tank in chevelle

Has anyone used a Tanks Inc FI tank in a 70-72 Chevelle? Got one and it doesn't seem to fit between the frame rails. Thanks.

I've got one in my 69 Buick skylark(basically same frame), and it was a tight fit, but fits snug like they should. Awesome product!

The tank will fit in mine if I allow the side flanges to be inside the U part of the frame but the stock tank fits between the frame rails. I noticed that the side flanges on the stock tank are bent up 90 degrees and the flanges on the Tanks Inc are flat so that makes the overall width about a half inch wider. Spoke with Tanks Inc and they say they have never had a call about this.
