In the process in doing mine. Fbody ac pump and I'm just gonna get custom lines made. I've been told to use the Fbody Evap core for the best cooling. Ima run my stock one and see how it is. If I need to the. Ima have to get the Fbody Evap core.

I haven't decided if I'm going to get lines made for the ls compressor or fab up a bracket for the stock compressor.

Most the ones I see use the Ls compressor, with all the rest of the ford junk. Works fine.

I saved all my factory ford stuff. Was thinking about just using a custom bracket for the ford compressor, but got hung up with pressure switches and the like. Would definitely be an added bonus if I had A/C!

Just looked at a running driving 5.3 swapped 94 last night. It's really simple. The hardest part is finding an ac shop that will make lines... Most of them do. Use all the ford stuff besides the compressor. The low and high pressure switches are already wired in line with the power to the compressor clutch.

Once you've gotten that right, take the 2 wires that would plug in to the ford ac compressor, and wire on a plug from a gm compressor.

Lastly locate the positive wire out of the two wire you just connected to the ac compressor, and hook that to the "A/C REQUEST" wire on your ecu. And your done.

Wow Busa that sounds really simple. I will still have to fab a bracket for the compressor but this at least gives me a little ore motivation to do it.
