so I had just picked up a 86 4x4 Silverado for a work truck for next to nothing. the goal is to use the 5.3 and 4l60e out of my part truck avalanche and swap it into the 86, it has a blown 6.2 desiel and blown 700r4 trans so figure this would be a good upgrade for the truck.

any one know a good site that has more info on this kind of swap. I have searched here and found old treads that don't work

What did u do to reuse the stock t case with a 4l60e i wanna keep the pass side drop t case and what kind of engine mount u use.
