Default ls1 build

I've always liked monte carlos (4gen) but I want to do it right I found a ls1 t56 with wiring harness drive shaft and all the accessories but I don't want to run it stock I want to get around 400 to the wheels and still maintain it as a daily drive so a couple questions want can I run in that platform to get me around that range and what rearend can I fit in there that will link up right also can I use the 98-02 camaro wiring harness or do I need a custom one since its going into a monte

Well you can go with a head and cam package or force induction. I know trick flow has a package for alittle over 3k through summit racing that is rated in the high 400s ( flywheel ). Or you could pick up a used procharger setup. Wiring harness will need to be customized. What is wrong with the stock rearend?
