Vette p/s pump pulley..
Car: 86 T Type w/ a 5.3LS, Vette accessories. Have spent the afternoon searching for a 5+" pulley to fit the .66" dia shaft on the Vette pump. [Including several attempts at the search function.] No luck.
Found these 2..Dorman pilleys: 300-301, 300-302. Contacted Dorman...Waste of time. They don't make a Vette pulley, and can't tell me what the offset is on the above 2 pulleys.
Am having fits trying to get enuf clearance on the steer gear inner hose fitting. [Current pulley is about 6.7" dia. Stock Vette]
As an alternative, I've looked hi and lo for an 18mmx1.5 banjo, that has o'ring seals. [The surface of the pump doesn't look clean enuf, even w/ a filed surface, to seal a copper or alum washer at 1000psi.]
Other alt is to move the brktry back out to truck dimensions, and that calls for a new balancer. [Current balancer is SFI, under drive.]
NE1 have a solution??? I'd sure appreciate a heads up.

Chuck, what's your issue? Is it just the hose or are you having interference on the steering box? I have the stock 'Vette pump and bracketry with a Billet Specialties flow reducer fitting and a standard 45° -6 AN SS fitting with Teflon hose, it all clears. I posted pix in a PS pump thread here a few weeks ago...

Russ, the F body accessory location combined w/ the engine location, puts the pulley directly over the gear box port.
Karl, the engine in your application is further back than mine. Thanks for the pic!
RPM, the ebag stuff is where I've been hunting for several hrs. have found a couple pulleys and some banjo fittings that may work.
I'd like to use the SFI balancer, as this engine is going to be fairly stout, and I don't want to take a chance on throwing the balancer into shrapnel...[Given it's a streeter, I may be too **** about this. Engine won't be twisted much over 6K] Y/N?? Comments welcome.

Maybe try contacting Turn One?(www.turnone-steering.com) They probably have a pulley or fittings you're looking for. Or, at least direct you where to go. Hope this helps.
