Going from the figures that the "desktop dyno" software provided after I input all of this combinations specs (i.e head flow figures, cam specs, CR, bore size etc etc) and the weight of it, the calculators spit out a result varying from 7.92 up to 8.41

I would be happy with an 8.60, but even that I am dubious of - at the end of the day it is a bracket car, and should be very consistent so it will run what it runs

Heya, just the stock ls1 computer to handle ignition.

Delay box is just a RTD7 - Dedenbear.

No start line enhancer, just a line lock which activates at the same time as the transbrake.

Been waiting way way too long for this piece of the puzzle which I got my hands on Monday: (mid engine plate)

So since then things have been moving at a pretty rapid pace, engine and trans are in and everything else around it is starting to go back onto the car.

Hit a snag with the clearance from the starter motor to the flexplate when it throws out, need to get the top of the starter motor machined so it will move the starter gear in closer to the flexplate.

Otherwise everything else has gone fairly smoothly.

More updates later..

Sweet Project, I'd love to build something like this for my blown LQ9 408. The motor is going into a 51 Chevy 5-window but it would look much better in your altered.
Here is a pic of the intake.

I'm not sure who made it but it's mostly vintage Pete Jackson Injection.
