hi everyone,

i recently have gotten my hands on a '68 Camaro that i want to put a previously acquired 5.3 and 4l60 tranny in. I have my wiring harness ready and waiting.

Has anyone previously compiled a list of parts necessary for this swap? I can scan through all the threads, but thought maybe someone has already compiled a "hit" list they would share.

Biggest expense will be your swap headers and computer. I'm doing an ls swap on my 68 as well if you have any questions shoot me a pm

i used edelbrock 1 set back plates very close to firewall.motor sits low with autokraft pan, but not past crossmember.I like these plates.

Ls1 oil pan

Autokraft oil pan
Dynatech header 1 7/8
Corvette front accessories c5

I ran into trouble with the pan and headers.
