Default Fuel pump no longer coming on

Figured out most of my issues with the car. Went to start it a few days ago and the pump did not prime when I turned the key. Swapped out the fuel relay and checked the fuses to make sure none were blown. Ran a 12v source to the fuel pump and it spun up to pressure perfectly. What am I missing here?

The PCM is not activating the pump relay. Check power and ground to the PCM.

Does the car run if you hotwire the pump? If so, the fuel pump driver in the PCM could be faulty. Check power at the pump relay pins to confirm that the PCM is doing what it should.

fuel pump relay signal is 12v+, use a test light to verify with key on (2 sec prime). Probably your relay.

I was hoping it was hence why I tossed a new one in. But it was a no-go.

FUEL RELAY connector: I have constant 12v power to pin 87 on the relay side so that means I don't need to check for a fuse right? However when I turn the key on, pin 85 that should be powered by the ecm does not power up. That means the ecm is not sending a signal right? What do I check to make sure its not the ecm...or better yet what do I check next?
