Default Ls1, G-50, 914

I have a 2000 corvette engine and PRC heads. The heads are at this point
a mystery to me. I don't know much about them but they do have dual springs and are ported. I want to install a new cam but surely need some
guidance. I was told the heads support 600 lift and as said they are ported.
I don't want a huge cam just something over stock. This car is light, maybe 2200 lbs. so it should do just fine. I have the stock heads as well.

The trans is out of a 1987 911 Carrera / a G-50/01 The suspension is from a 2004 911 Carrera as well. I hope to have it running in 5 or 6 months. I going to use a electric pump from a Toyota Mr2 to run the power steering.
Any recommendation's on a cam & lifters, mild not race is what I am looking for.

I covered the car in an epoxy (Por-15) based paint to keep it from any rust issues.

Media blasted the aluminum 996 adapted suspension & painted them. I'm putting everything back together.

Still have a lot of things to work out, engine, clutch, trans linkage, wiring, to name a few.

Made some time to put more parts together. If I ever get to paint LOL it will be a white color. I have a bad habit of climbing all over my cars and mucking them up.

I'm going to put some undercoat on the car. Its a spray on 2 part system. The name of it is Als liner. I'm going to spray the pan or bottom of the car and on the inside of the fender wells, not the outside because it still needs body work. its a poly based liner. I'm going to cover the inside completely with dynamat. I have used this stuff and some cheep stuff and learned my lesson. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a bad habit of doing things over and over because of ether being cheep or just move without thinking things out well.

This is awesome!
I've always loved me a 914.
Makes it even better with the LS motor.
