Need help with engine ID ls1 or 5.3? Im looking into buying a dodge dakota with a LS1 but I have heard it might be a 5.3L L33 engine. How can I tell when the engine was already installed and running in the truck? Sorry I am a noob with all my knowledge in 1994-1996 Impala SS and Caprices with LT1s.
