I will always have a soft spot for Fox's, prices of them have gone completely absurd. I remember when you could buy clean coupe's for $3k all day. If I didn't love my wagon so much I would get another and swap it.

Sorry to hijack, keep up the good work.

Nothing really exciting to report other the my 1 inch shorter A arms came in today, so I stuffed it on the ds, and put the shock and coilover on as well. Upr makes some very nice stuff.

I have a a whole new set of arp wheel studs, and new lug nuts on the way. I have about 8 broken studs, and some of the threads on the others are toast. Same story with the lugs for the dark star wheels, a whole bunch of them are all messed up so I figured I'd start fresh.

And last I ordered my bump steer kit on the way, as well as the steering rack bushings, and paint for the engine bay.

Allen, if the weathers nice, I'll come out and shoot some video for you. Maybe I'll drag the bike out and make a few runs. It is drag strip season in Texas.

Made some good progress today. Got the front end done, minus the steering shaft. But my bump steers, rack bushings, paint, lugs, lug nuts all came in. Took a few min to wire wheel the spindles, and shot them with some paint.

Need to do something with the calipers I think now.

The 1 inch shorter a arms did the trick. No more wheel poke.

I also talked to forced performance today, and ordered a turbo. It's a t6 Borg s475 with an 83mm back side. Nothing crazy, but should be plenty of fun. Nice people at FP.

Took some time to start working on the engine bay. Used a product called por15. Used it several times before. Great stuff!

I've decided I'm going to go over the engine bay with a matte black, or semi gloss. What I used is so glossy, it shows all the waves in sheet metal that these cars have. Oh well what's another $30?

Hopefully I'll get the engine to the machine shop next week, and drop the trans off. In the mean time I'll have to get with tic to get a cam made for this turd.

It's been awhile, but I've been slammed with moving in to my new shop, any bikes pouring through the door.

Finally got the car to the shop, and up on stands. Found a bunch of broken wires under the dash, so I will rip all the wires are, and redue the whole car.

Currently, I just got the block back from the machine shop, with new cam bearings. New piston rings are gapped, and ready to go.

New bearings, lifters, push rods, gaskets and other items should be in Monday. I also have a huge order coming in from Holly to help finish things up.

I had the trans gone through, and turns out it needed a new high gear drum. So it got new clutches, rmvb, and a trans brake. I'll be ordering a circle D converter in the morning, and I'm hoping tick gives me a call and takes some money for a new cam. Can't forget, I bought the tci flexplate that adapts a th400 to an ls.

Other than that, things are starting to come together, and I'm getting very excited. I'm looking around now to find some ls2 rods since the 99-04 5.3 rods don't seem to hold as much power. Lots of updates and pics to come.
