engine question I have been cramming the past two days to try to get some info on the ls engines. I have picked up a 5.3 out of a chevy pickup with only like 6000 miles on it. according to the chart it is a LMG engine with AFM and VVT. I am going to go cabureted with the victor jr intake, and cam swap. my question is are the heads that came on this engine good flowing heads or are there better flowing stock heads out there. ive seen a lot of info on the genIII heads but not much on the gen IV. also when im doing the cam swap do I need to do anything about the AFM or VVT?
