LQ4/T56 into 1973 Corvette
I purchased a LQ4 with harness and ECM but NOT the TAC module or accelerator.
I am putting LS3 heads, intake manifold and stock cam into the LQ4. The LQ4 stock DBW throttle will not fit on the LS3 manifold. I've read that the throttle body, ECM, TAC module and accelerator should all match or problems will arise.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to approach this problem? Should I ditch the LQ4 ECM and just get all components from an LS3 source, ie, Corvette or Camaro? If I do, could I still use the LQ4 wiring harness? I want to be as frugal as possible, but don't want to cheap out either.
Assistance appreciated

You are correct. It is a 24X. Are you saying to get this adapter and use the 75mm TB on the LS3 manifold with the LS3 cam. I take it then I should get the truck TAC and accel pedal assy to go with the truck ecm.
Is this 75mm TB going to hurt me much? I guess a tuner can tune for that combo, right?
Or I could go with a cable driven 90mm TB? I really wanted cruise control but I saw where I could get that even with a cable drive.
I'm OK with mechanical skills to do this but knowledge is my shortcoming.
Thanks.

Not sure how much the smaller TB will hurt it.
If it's a 411 ecu, they're pretty common on LQ4s, they can be tuned for cable TB. You'll need to add IAC and wiring. However, since LS3 intakes never came with IAC, I'm not entirely sure what you'll need. Check with one of the 4 bolt aftermarket TB manufacturers.

I compared my ecu serv no. to another thread and the one I have cannot be used for a cable TB.
So, if I got a truck TAC module and accel pedal, a 3 to 4 bolt adapter for my 75mm TB and used the LS3 intake manifold and my truck TB and ecu, I should be in business, correct? Maybe I could port/polish the TB to make it more efficient.
From what I understand, I will have to EV1 to EV6 adapters for the Vortec harness to LS3 injectors.
Anything else I should worry about?
