Hello Folks,

Any problems with a 2007, 5.3 with AFM going in to a 1995 Tahoe?

I was able to pick up a loaded motor and transmission with 12000 mile on them. Just not sure about the flex fuel and AFM.

As long as you either a) use all of the required equipement for the AFM or b) you removed all of the AFM equipement, chage anything them would require it to work as a non-AFM engine and then tune.. you should be ok.

I have found the info on the AFM/DOD delete. I picked up the motor yesterday and it was a 12,000 mile aluminium block 5.3.

Looks like the project is under way.
