Default 5.3 in lowered truck

Hey guys has anyone installed a 5.3 in a lowered chevy full size pickup? The thing is I know that the truck pans have a longer sump than the car pans and I was wondering about ground clearance issue. My truck is a 74 c10 lowered 4in front n rear. If anyone has done this without having a problem then let me know.

The LH8 pan fits good. Its about even with the crossmember. There was room in front of it so an ls1 pan maybe a better option if your truck is lowered.

I have a lowered 1992 chevy pickup with the 5.3 and truck oil pan. I does sits 2in lower then the front crossmember but I don't have any problems. Not sure of the drop because I bought it with the drop already done but the rear is c notched.
Here is a picture of my truck.

I have a 4.8 in a 51 Chevy truck that is much lower. My truck pan is way lower than that, I would be OK with that clearance on my truck.

I used a 2007+ Cadillac CTSV pan on my 68 and 69 Conversions.

The Holley LS pan is the lowest profile you can find that still maintains 6qt oil capacity and fits most applications.
