Default oil pan guestion and pics

I want to ask if my oil pan is going to be to close to crossmember... As u can see in the pics i got solid engine mounts so it should not move much (right?)... Ok i used a nut in the pics to show clearance... Bolt lieing flat is1/2 inch bult were u can see the hole is 3/4 inch.... Ans the pencil in the pic is 1/4 inch that is what i an nervous about.... I would love feed back on what you think ... Is it going to be safe to run... Should i notch itit.it..... Other options. I will be adding 4 pics it might take me 5 min so keep a eye on this thread

Looks like that will work, where is your steering? if up front does it clear the pan when the steering in cranked to the stops?

To place my engine as close to the steering rack as possible I literally folded an outdoor life magazine over double and put that on top of the steering rack under the oil pan and then rested the engine on that to fab my solid motor mounts.

I'm that close

I think you'll be fine

I've probably got less clearance than that on mine...2500 miles...so far, no problem...

If you can slip the tip of your finger up to the 1st knuckle (or that 1/2 Nut).. you should be ok. More air flow would be nice.. but you take what room you can. With Solid or Poly mounts, its not going to move much anyway.
