Default 1964 chevelle
I tryed to put in my transmission last night in my 64 chevelle and it did not fit it is going in with my ls1. any help ??????

its an 4l60e both engine and tranny are out of 2002 camaro ss

There are a few people on here with chevelle swaps. You should search LS1 Chevelle on google and it will more than likely bring their swaps up. I don't see why it wouldn't fit. You'll have to explain why it wouldn't fit.

What oil pan and what mounts are you using ?

If you have the engine up and back, then yes you will have tunnel issues. But it can be done with a 4L60e without and modifical (or very little use of that BFH).
